Well, that’s not exactly the message he sent to supporters yesterday. Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in 2004, said yesterday that he won’t be seeking the presidency next year.

“I’ve concluded this isn’t the time for me to mount a presidential campaign,”
Kerry, said in an online video speech and press release. Kerry’s decision still leaves many Democratic candidates, including the top three: Senator Hillary Clinton, former Senator John Edwards, and Senator Barack Obama.
